Sunday March 16, 2014 at 1:08pm EDT marks the 3rd Full Moon of 2014.

The Virgo Full Moon of the Goddess harolds fresh changes and promises of growth after a fruitful New Moon in Pisces March 1. The Virgo energy governed by Mercury represents the merging of mind and matter, spirit and physical, inifinite and finite, and dreamy illusions with the realistic ordinary. It takes two to tango and the merging of the Sun in 26' Pisces and the Moon in 26' Virgo creates the energy of unity of all extremes. The sign of Mercury you find the cross, circle and also the half-circle showing that Mercury represents body, soul and spirit, the 3 fold division of being, and also the 3 Major cycles of the Moon and Goddess. Virgo is focused on the Mind and Thoughts, and Pisces is focused on the Dreamy state and Intuition, merging these two together within the 7 day period of the Full Moon energy gives you a recipe for destined accomplishement! Virgo is the sign of the Virgin, the Maiden represented with crops, a barley of wheat. The Full Moon in March is also known as the Worm Moon and is heaven for the Nature Gardener, it's also a good time for the typical everyday ordinary person's chance to tap into the Inifinite power of the Maiden energy and reap the harvest of our imagination. The maiden is un-tainted and un-tamed like the Fool, card 0 in the Major Tarot Arcana. She starts out on new paths that satisfies her deepest desires and she doesn't care a bit of what others have to say. The Maiden is the Goddess who represents the waxing Moon phase.Over the past week we may have witnessed our seeds planted at the New Moon mysteriously, magically, and successfully blossom in many different aveneues of our lives. This is due to the increasing pull of the Sun in Pisces to really work with us in increasing opportunities for our dreams to manifest. In the 1st house that represents you, your personality and self interest Jupiter is in 10' Cancer presenting an energy of charity, humaness, and being sociable. You may feel more sympathetic, kind, and humorous throught this phase. This will be an excellent time to give back in a small or major way to an organization or charity with a cause that you are passionate about. There will be many social events catered around giving back, so volunteer, donate or lend a hand. It will boost your feelings of being connected to your community and world around you. Your intuition, comfort of home life, and mothering qualities will be noticeable whether you are male or female, and will be very important to you. The New Moon of January 31st, I planted seeds to have a new house in a good community and school district for my children as well as an affordable rent amount for a single mom. I also planted seeds for an awesome part-time job that would assist me financially and benefit my spiritual and personal life. As well I planted seeds for my youngest son to begin school which is a big thing for me with him being 1. And I tell you one by one the doors opened, the opporunites presented themselves and as a family we accomplished all 3 goals. Yes we faced obstacles, and yes we utilized the sacred power of intent, awareness, and attraction to overcome all challenges that presented themselves. I prayed, meditated, and most importantly I released the bad habit of fear that we would not reach these goals. In this very moment we've been living in our new beautiful and affordable home in an excellent community and school district for a week, my 1 year old is in a school with his cousins, and I start work at a Garden Nursery in my town tomorrow. How awesome is that!? This Full Moon I will be celebrating my success, getting my hygeine and health in check by fasting, doing yoga, and meditaion for my mind, and I will also release my lingering bad habits into the night so my strengths can shine. What to do on the Virgo Full Moon Night~

Career: Create a dream career collage with drawings, colors, paintings, or pictures. Make it come to life. Use big, bold and positive words and lively energies. Do not limit yourself while doing this, you deserve whatever you desire whether it is to be an entrepreneur, a traveling journalist, or a college professor. Write down your dream in the most realistic terms possible, this way it is more likely you will succeed. Think in terms of doing work that makes you happy while getting paid for it. Also think of location and wheter full or part time is desireable. If thoughts of "I don't have enough schooling" or " I'm not good enough for this type of work" arises dismiss them. The magic of this Full Moon is that if you believe in yourself and have faith in your creator to open doorways and opportunities for you to attract the job you want, it will most definitely happen in divine time. When you have completed this collage, call upon the Angels of Career and Opportunity, light a candle and repeat your prayer daily until it comes. You can also place your collage under the Moon to charge it with divine energy.

Charity: Write down something that you are very passionate about. Research in your area a charity or organization that exists for a cause similar to your passion. Look at the opportunities available to donate, volunteer, or give back in some way. Make a firm dedication to follow up and do so within the next day or two.

Gardening: During the Waxing and Full moon is a good time plant above ground crops like cucumbers, sage, or corn. Waning Moon is a good time to plant earthen root crops like potatoes, carrots, and beets. Here is a basic over view for planting according to the Moon for March.12th-16th A most barren period, best for doing chores around the farm.17th-18th Favorable days for planting root crops, fine for sowing hay, fodder crops, and grains. Plant flowers now.19th-21st Excellent time for planting root crops that can be planted now and for starting seedbeds. Good days for transplanting.22nd-23rd These are poor planting days.24th-25th Any root crops that can be planted will do well.26th-27th A barren period, best suited for killing pests. Do plowing and cultivating.28th-29th Favorable days for planting beets, carrots, radishes, salsify, turnips, peanuts, and other root crops. Also good for planting cucumbers, melons, pumpkins, and other vine crops. Set strawberry plants. Good days for transplanting.30th-31st Cultivate and spray, do general farm work, but no planting.

Home Life: On Saturday March 15th clean your home from top to bottom. Sweep, mop, clean accessible windows and walls. You can make your own Spiritual Floor Wash to bring peace, prosperity, and protection to your home. You can also use these floor wash recipes to clean cabinets, counters, bathrooms, windows and kitchens. After cleaning on the eve or night of the Full Moon open the windows for a short period if its cold or all night if the weather is good and allow the Moon's Energy to shine in your home. Light a white candle for peace and say a prayer unto the Moon Goddess to grant peace into your home. Light a Green Candle for abundance and say a prayer for financial prosperity for all in your home. For more love and compassion within the home light a pink candle and say a prayer for what you wish. Have faith and embrace the new found energy in your home.

Love Life: Take a love bath on the Friday March 14th. Write your sweet desires for your lover. How they will look, smell, what personality qualities, career, finances etc. Make a pot tea of roses, lavender, and jasmine and allow to lightly simmer for 5 minutes then cool. Strain and pour into your bath water. Light pink candles and dress them in jasmine, rose or ylang ylang essential oil. If it is more affordable for you dress them in Rose or Jasmine flower water 1 hour before your bath. While dressing the candles and preparing your tea, recite your love list for your lover. Shower, clean the tub and run your bath water, pour in your tea, light your candles and listen to loving music while imagining your lover coming to you. Sleep with your list under your pillow Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Then keep your list in your wallet or purse until your lover comes to you.

Hygeine: The weekend of the Full Moon enjoy a light fast of fresh fruits, veggies and water or fast to your liking. Make sure to exercise gently such as Yoga, Tai Chi or walking. Enjoy 5-10 minutes of meditation daily. Doing these things will allow the signals of your body to surface so you will know what things to pay attention to and change in your everyday hygeine routine.

Magic: Moon Magic is very eclectic and diverse just as the people on Earth. On the Full Moon I like to celebrate all of my accomplishments since the New Moon. I will fill a Glass Jug of water, bless it and sit it under the Moon all night and retrieve it before sunrise. I will drink a little bit of this water daily until the next Full Moon. I also charge my crystals, wallet and Prayers under the Full Moon. It is a time for me to communicate with my spiritual family (ancestors, angels, saints and Orishas). Their presence is illuminated at this time. I light candles, cast my circle, call in the angels to guard the elements, I call in my spiritual family, express my successes and gratefulness in celebration. I sing, chant, dance, and channel the divine power to flow through me. I then ground and do a tarot, i-ching, or runes reading. I then offer a food offering to my spiritual family and close the circle. I eat and rest afterwards.
